4th August 2024

During the Sunday service at Tent Church, Ps. Andrew Fernandes continued the series “End Times or In Times,” reflecting on 2 Timothy 3:1-5. He emphasized how, in the last days, people would exhibit abusive behavior, including physical abuse. Ps. Fernandes highlighted 1 Corinthians 6:12 to discuss sexual immorality, linking it to Jesus’ teachings in Matthew 5:28, where even lustful thoughts are deemed sinful. He further connected this with James 1:14-15, showing how desire can lead to sin.

End Times Or In Times- Spiritual Abuse

11th August 2024

Ps. Andrew Fernandes continued the “End Times or In Times” series at Tent Church, focusing on spiritual abuse. He addressed how some pastors or spiritual leaders misuse their authority, drawing from Ezekiel 34:1-4 and 1 Peter 5:1-4, which warn against leaders who exploit their position. Ps. Andrew contrasted this with the example of John the Baptist in John 3:25-29, showing how John humbly handled disputes and pointed others to Christ rather than seeking personal glory. The message called for humility and servant leadership in the church.

Ps. Andrew emphasized the dangers of becoming prideful or self-reliant in financial matters, urging the church to honor God as the source of all blessings.
