This Sunday was a truly blessed day as Pastor Andrew released his new song TUM, written by him in collaboration with the Jaago Team. He also delivered a powerful sermon inspired by Psalm 33:3, encouraging us to sing a new song to the Lord with passion and gratitude. The service concluded with a joyful celebration, complete with cake and a shared meal, as we came together to honor this special occasion.

In this Sunday service, Pastor Andrew spoke powerfully about our identity in Christ. He reminded us that while we all desire to be called children of God, our actions reveal who we truly are. He pointed out that lying, whether it’s a “small” or “big” lie, separates us from the truth of God’s Word. The world may try to justify small lies, but in God’s eyes, a lie is a lie. To truly walk as children of God, we must abide in His Word, living in honesty and truth.

Pastor Andrew Fernandes shared an inspiring message on the topic “Overcome.” He encouraged us not to view setbacks in life as failures, but rather as opportunities for growth. When things go wrong, we should look at them through a positive lens, recognizing that God is teaching us something valuable. Pastor Andrew reminded us that the greatest enemy to overcoming is often our own mindset—saying “I can’t” instead of trusting God’s truth that “You can do it.” With faith in God’s strength, we can overcome any challenge.

On 24th December, Tent Church celebrated midnight Christmas with joyful festivities, including delicious food, a fun skit, and an amazing dance performance. Pastor Andrew Fernandes delivered a powerful message on the importance of belief in God. He pointed out that if Mary had not believed in God, He would have chosen someone else to conceive Jesus by the Holy Spirit. Pastor Andrew encouraged everyone to place their faith in God, trusting that belief opens the door for God to work miracles in our lives. It was a heartwarming reminder of the power of faith during this special season.

On 31st December, Pastor Andrew shared an inspiring message declaring 2025 as The Year of Restoration. This restoration goes beyond material possessions; it’s about restoring our relationship with God the Father. From the beginning, humanity lost dominion, but through Jesus Christ, God has restored our relationship with Him.
Pastor Andrew emphasized the four types of restoration found in the Bible—spiritual, emotional, physical, and material—and shared practical steps to experience a restored life in 2025:
1. Confess your sins (James 5:16, 1 John 1:9).
2. Practice gratitude and thanksgiving (1 Thessalonians 5:18, Psalm 100:4).
3. Be a peacemaker (Matthew 5:9).
4. Repent and turn to God (Acts 3:19, Matthew 4:17).
5. Forgive others (Colossians 3:13).
6. Walk in humility (Philippians 2:8).
Let’s embrace 2025 as a year to be restored spiritually, emotionally, and physically, growing closer to God and living in His grace and peace.
