We began our November of Promises with a beautiful reminder from Ps. Andrew about the deep love God has poured out on us through Jesus. His love is the greatest promise ever kept — a love that saves, restores, and makes us new. Because He loved us first, He now gives us the opportunity and calling to love one another. Keeping His promise means living out that same love in our daily relationships.

On the second Sunday, John Rayan encouraged the church with the assurance that every promise of God is Yes and Amen. God does not change His mind, nor does He fail in what He has spoken. His promises stand firm regardless of our circumstances. When God says “Yes,” no situation can say “No.”

Ps. Andrew returned with a powerful message addressing a question many believers struggle with — Why does delay happen when God’s promises are Yes and Amen? He reminded us that delay is not denial. Often, God uses the waiting season to shape our character, strengthen our faith, and prepare us for the promise. The promise is sure; the process is what builds us.

Continuing the series, Ps. Andrew taught that it is in God’s nature to fulfill every promise He makes. He never goes back on His word. But the message also challenged us: Is promise-keeping only expected from God, or does He also desire us to keep our promises toward Him? Faithfulness is a two-way relationship — God is faithful to us, and He calls us to be faithful to Him.

We concluded the November of Promises with Luqman Mulam sharing a powerful word on who God truly is behind every promise. Promises matter because of the One who gives them. He reminded us that Jesus is after our hearts — He wants us to follow Him, love Him, and worship Him as God, not just admire Him as a teacher. When we know the heart of the Promiser, we learn to trust every promise He makes.
